Touch issued a clarifying statement regarding the roaming issue faced by users of Emirates cellular communications recently. It confirmed that "the source of the problem is completely beyond the Touch network; however, its team was able to find a solution for some Emirates line holders to continue using roaming while they are in Lebanon on the Touch network in most cases, after overcoming several technical obstacles." Touch emphasized that "despite having no relation to this roaming issue, it quickly devised solutions for some customers and is closely monitoring the situation with all relevant parties, including cellular network operators in the United Arab Emirates and local stakeholders, to address the problem at its roots and restore roaming services for all customers."
