The German center added that, in conjunction with antioxidants, polyunsaturated fatty acids (Omega-3) also improve brain activity and combat stress hormones. Additionally, salmon is a treasure trove of minerals and vitamins such as phosphorus and potassium, which are important for bone health, iodine, which is essential for thyroid health, B vitamins crucial for nerve health, and vitamin D, which is important for bone and dental health. In general, it is recommended to consume fish twice a week to benefit from its numerous health advantages.
