What Does the Deletion of Trump's Decision on Western Sahara from the White House Website Mean?

Activists on social media platforms have questioned the significance of the new U.S. administration's removal of former President Donald Trump's decision regarding Western Sahara from the White House website.

According to Sputnik News, activists noted that searching for the decision on the White House website leads to an Error 404 message, which has led some to believe that the decision has been deleted and annulled by Biden. The agency clarified that after a president's term ends, their decisions are transferred to an archival site, explaining that when visiting the regular site now, one will find the current president Joe Biden's image along with his decisions and statements, but nothing related to Trump, as all of Trump's decisions have already been moved to the archived site. The agency emphasized that this is a normal procedure and does not mean that these decisions have been revoked or deleted but rather archived.

It is worth noting that the new U.S. administration under Biden has not annulled the decision, nor has it issued any position or statement regarding Western Sahara thus far. Former President Donald Trump announced on December 10, 2020, that he signed a declaration recognizing Morocco's sovereignty over Western Sahara.
