Qatar Airways Tops Global Air Safety Rankings

Qatar Airways has secured the second position globally in air safety according to the Airline Ratings website, which evaluates airlines. The airline recently won the Airline of the Year 2021 award and also received the Best Airline in the Middle East award, the Best Food Service award, and the Best Business Class award. The airline has won the Best Business Class award for three consecutive years, including 2021, thanks to its "Qsuite" seats. The website ranked the top 20 airlines numerically, with Qatar Airways coming in second after Australian airline Qantas. New Zealand Airlines, Singapore Airlines, and Emirates ranked in the top five. The Airline Ratings website evaluates 385 airlines worldwide by measuring various factors such as accident records, serious incidents, and the age of aircraft.
