English media reports have revealed Liverpool's desire to secure its top stars by renewing the contracts of Egyptian Mohamed Salah and Senegalese striker Sadio Mane. According to the British newspaper "The Sun," after Liverpool renewed the contracts of key players including Brazilian goalkeeper Alisson Becker, Dutch defender Virgil van Dijk, Andy Robertson, Alexander Arnold, Jordan Henderson, and Fabinho, there is now a wish to secure the remaining essential elements of the team by renewing the contracts of Salah and Mane.
The newspaper confirmed that the "Reds" are preparing to offer Mane a salary matching that of Virgil van Dijk, who earns £220,000 per week. If the 29-year-old Senegalese striker agrees to the renewal, he will remain at Anfield until the summer of 2025, by which time he will be 34 years old.
Regarding Salah, Liverpool aims to grant him the highest salary in the Premier League, valued at £500,000 per week. Salah's current contract with Liverpool runs until the summer of 2023, and there is a strong desire from the "Reds" to renew his contract, especially considering his outstanding performance with the team, as he achieved a historic milestone last weekend by scoring his 100th career goal.
