Jordanian Prince Marries Bulgarian Princess: Who is She?

In the presence of Jordanian King Abdullah II, Jordanian Prince Ghazi bin Mohammed married Princess Mariam, the Princess of Turnovo in Bulgaria, on Saturday. The ceremony was also attended by Prince Hassan bin Talal and Prince Talal bin Mohammed, as reported by the Hashemite Royal Court. The news agency "Ammon" revealed details about Princess Mariam, noting that she comes from the former Bulgarian royal family and is a scholar in gemstones and a jewelry designer. She holds a degree in history and geography, specializing in art history from the Complutense University in Madrid. She studied gemology, jewelry manufacturing, gemstone setting, and jewelry design at the European Gemmology and Jewelry Center at the University of Oviedo. The Hashemite Royal Court congratulated King Abdullah II on this occasion.
