On Saturday, the National Army and Giant Brigades forces neared the completion of liberating Harib district and Juba village in Marib governorate. An envoy from "Al Arabiya" and "Al Hadath" reported that the army and resistance forces have completely encircled the Houthi militias in the southern part of the governorate. Coalition aircraft supported the battles, targeting several military trucks belonging to the militia that were on their way to supply reinforcements to Houthi elements. The Houthis continue to establish themselves in residential areas and are planting mines in areas that the army and Giant Brigades are close to liberating in southern Marib.
Additionally, the National Army and the resistance have taken control of most parts of the Eastern Mountain, with many Houthi elements fleeing from their positions atop the mountain, fully besieged from the sandy axis, where clashes occurred in the Al-Lajmah area on the outskirts of Balq. Earlier, the Yemeni army announced the continued advancement of its forces on the fronts in Marib, asserting that it had imposed a blockade on the southern front of the governorate, completely closing off access.
The fire from the National Army forced the Houthi militia to withdraw from Al-Lajmah, Al-Akd Al-Ramli, and Al-Naq’a, amid a collapse in the ranks of the militias and significant losses in both personnel and equipment. For his part, the official spokesperson of the Yemeni Armed Forces, Brigadier General Abdu Majli, indicated that an announcement regarding the liberation of Harib district in Marib would be made in the coming hours.
