In a tragic family incident, an Egyptian mother caused the death of her daughter after brutally beating her, claiming she intended to discipline the child. According to Al-Ahram newspaper, initial investigations into the incident involving the death of an 8-year-old girl at the hands of her mother revealed that the accused admitted to hitting her daughter with the intent of raising her properly and did not aim to harm her, and that she was the one who took the child to the hospital. The Giza General Department of Investigations received a notification from Al-Haram Hospital about an 8-year-old girl who was brought in unconscious and subsequently died, with suspicions of foul play. Security personnel immediately responded, and the mother confessed that she had physically punished her deceased daughter in an attempt to discipline her. During the incident, the child lost consciousness, and she took her to the hospital; however, the child succumbed to her injuries. The accused insisted that she did not intend to harm her daughter and that she was merely trying to discipline her. The accused has been detained, and a report has been filed regarding the incident.
