Those Who Should Avoid Eating Pineapple!

Dr. Yelena Solomatina, a Russian nutrition expert, has announced that individuals with stomach and intestinal issues should refrain from consuming pineapple. According to the expert, pineapple is a very beneficial fruit that aids the immune system and positively affects the gut microbiome. It contains vitamin C, calcium, and the enzyme bromelain, which helps in protein digestion.

She adds that despite the positive effects of pineapple on muscles, ligaments, blood vessels, the immune system, and the nervous system, and its ability to help eliminate excess fluids from the body, it should be consumed cautiously. "Individuals suffering from gastrointestinal diseases characterized by high acidity levels (such as ulcers, gastritis, and colitis) should not eat pineapple during exacerbations of these conditions. It is better to completely refrain from eating pineapple in cases of allergies and intolerance. For those with type 2 diabetes, it is advisable not to consume large amounts of sweet pineapple and to limit intake to small quantities."

The expert recommends rinsing the mouth with water after eating pineapple, as many people experience a tingling sensation in their lips after consumption.
