Lebanese artist Maya Diab surprised her audience by responding to the criticism from Reema Rahbani, the daughter of Lebanese singer Fairouz.
During her appearance on the show TheInsider بالعربي, Maya said, "Reema has a problem and I have a dedication. I dedicated songs to her mother with my voice and feelings during a difficult occasion." Diab emphasized that she is proud of what she has done and will not stop singing because she only stops doing things she makes mistakes with; however, if she does not err, she will continue.
It is worth mentioning that Maya Diab had performed songs for Fairouz at a concert held after the Beirut port explosion, dedicating it to the Lebanese people, which angered Reema and led her to criticize Maya. Diab’s latest work is the song "Doub," with lyrics by Amir Taima, music by Madin, and distribution by Hadi Sharara, which she released on her official YouTube channel.
