Portuguese star Bruno Fernandes, the playmaker for Manchester United, achieved a historic milestone by becoming the first player in the history of the Premier League to win the Player of the Month award four times in one year, in February, June, November, and finally December.
The 26-year-old player scored two goals in Manchester United's 6-2 victory over Leeds United, and also found the net during the 2-2 draw on Boxing Day against Leicester. Additionally, Fernandes provided four assists in December, including a crucial pass to Marcus Rashford in stoppage time against Wolverhampton.
Bruno Fernandes has scored 15 goals in 26 matches this season across all competitions, helping Manchester United climb to the top of the Premier League, ahead of Liverpool.
It is worth noting that Manchester United currently leads the Premier League table with 36 points, three points ahead of second-placed Liverpool, before the highly anticipated clash between the two teams at Anfield on Sunday.
