According to media reports, an SUV fired shots on Riyad al-Solh Street in Sidon near the residence of MP Abdul Rahman al-Bazri, causing damage to the glass facade of an apartment on the fifth floor of the adjacent "Dindashli" building. The damages were limited to material losses. Security forces arrived at the scene and opened an investigation into the incident. In his initial comment on the incident, al-Bazri stated in an interview with "Voice of Lebanon" radio (93.3) that a black SUV fired shots around his home, dismissing the idea that this incident was a message directed at him. Al-Bazri framed the event within the context of "security chaos and disregard for public safety," revealing that "the name of the shooter is known and has been handed over to the security forces."
