As tensions between the U.S. and Iran escalate in the Gulf waters, and following the military buildup of both sides in the region, the Islamic Republic of Iran has announced that any aggression directed at it will be met with a crushing response.
Iranian Air Force Commander, Brigadier General Aziz Naser, stated today that relying on internal resources and capabilities, the Iranian Air Force has achieved a high level of strength and defensive deterrence capability. Naser added during a speech at a ceremony recognizing the new commander of the sixth airbase in Bushehr, Iran, that the Iranian armed forces will not allow any threats from enemies, due to their solidarity and cohesion under the leadership of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces.
Naser emphasized in his remarks that Iran does not seek war but will not permit any aggression or threats from adversaries, stressing that those who advocate for purported democracy must understand that the armed forces of the Islamic Republic are united and cohesive. He pointed out that enemies' assessment of the capabilities of our armed forces is incorrect, affirming that our high defensive capability and readiness prevent the enemy from even contemplating aggression and threats because any aggression will be met with a crushing response.
