سيد رجب Responds to Ex-Wife's Accusations: I Respect Our Long Relationship, and the Case is in Court

The lawyer of artist سيد رجب issued a statement responding to accusations from his ex-wife, Mrs. كريستينا نلسون ديفيس, describing those accusations as incorrect claims that infringe on his personal life and have no connection to truth or reality. The statement noted the choice of the aforementioned person to use the provocative title "Behind the Scenes of Abu Al-Arousa," which includes an offense against the series and exploits its success along with سيد رجب’s successful role in it, after it gained a majority of viewership and appreciation from Egyptian viewers.

The statement emphasized that there is a legal dispute between سيد رجب and his ex-wife in Egyptian courts, preventing him from commenting, responding, refuting, or correcting what was stated in her post. It reiterated that out of respect for their long relationship, سيد رجب avoids discussing their personal matters, confirming that the disagreements with his ex-wife—despite his continuous attempts to resolve them amicably and previously offering several satisfactory solutions to avoid legal proceedings—were all rejected, including indications that cannot be explained here. In any case, سيد رجب affirms his refusal to delve into any personal details as the matters are still being discussed in court.

Furthermore, سيد رجب indicated that the timing of the publication seems to be a deliberate attempt to harm him by exploiting the success of the series "Abu Al-Arousa" and its public appeal, leading him to retain all of his legal rights against his ex-wife regarding the matter.

سيد رجب's ex-wife had posted on her Facebook page about their absence of divorce and her denial of rights, detailing her expenditures on their home in Dahshur, their marital residence.

Kiki Nelson, سيد رجب's ex-wife, published a lengthy post on her Facebook account stating: "سيد رجب expelled me from our home in Dahshur and denies that I have any rights to it. Initially, I did not want to present matters to the public in this way, but now I wish to tell my story with سيد رجب, as he is not the man I married and trusted."

She continued: "A few days ago, I went to my home in Dahshur to ensure everything was okay, to prepare for some friends the next day, but I was surprised by being denied entry. سيد رجب brought some security personnel and ordered them to prevent my entry to my farm and home there."

She added: "سيد رجب and I agreed to separate amicably without divorce to maintain my health insurance and residency in Egypt. We also agreed that he would pay me a suitable monthly alimony and help me find an appropriate living situation over time, in vain efforts to get him to sign the agreement."

She concluded: "How can all of this be denied? This is a relationship that lasted 21 years, and I invested all my savings in it. Now, I find myself unable to make a living in Egypt, having lost the opportunity to litigate, and I need support from my acquaintances and friends, which costs me a lot, in addition to the regular medical check-ups for cancer without medical insurance. I have ended my career, and I no longer have a source of income that guarantees me a decent life... and the cruelest part is السيد رجب's children boycotting me and preventing me from seeing my grandchildren, as I loved them very much, and they are well aware of that."
