The head of the Teachers' Syndicate for private schools, Rudolf Aboud, confirmed that the new school year remains wobbly, indicating that it may be almost normal in schools that have resolved their issues through agreements with the teachers, while it will be troubled in other schools. Aboud emphasized, in a conversation with "Voice of Lebanon," the importance of monitoring and auditing to ensure that teachers receive the salaries and incentives on which the tuition fees were based. In response to a question, Aboud clarified that the right to strike is constitutional and guaranteed by law; therefore, signing any commitments not to strike in the middle of the school year is illegal and bears no legal consequences if the teachers adhere to a strike decision if it occurs.
