Nasrallah: In This Case, "We Are Heading Towards Escalation"

The Secretary-General of Hezbollah, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, affirmed that "the issue of maritime borders, Karish, oil, and gas has no relation to the Iranian nuclear agreement, neither directly nor indirectly, whether the nuclear agreement is signed again or not." He added, "If the American mediator comes and gives the Lebanese state what it is demanding, we are 'heading towards calm,' whether the nuclear agreement is signed or not." He continued, "Whether the Iranian nuclear agreement is signed or not, if the Lebanese state is not given what it demands, then we are 'heading towards escalation.'" Nasrallah stated, "We emphasize the necessity of continuing efforts to form the government, and before making any decisions regarding the customs dollar, there must be a realistic study of its repercussions."
