I Decide My Future... A Question That Annoys Ronaldo

Due to the frequent questioning of Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo, he exploded in anger, expressing his deep annoyance at a question about whether the 2022 World Cup would be his last if Portugal qualified. In a press conference today, ahead of the crucial match against North Macedonia for qualification to the Qatar World Cup, he said, "I’m tired of these questions. I’m the one who decides my future."

He added, "I will stop if I want to," stating that if he wishes to continue playing, he will do so, and if he wants to stop, he will stop. "I am responsible for these decisions. That’s all."

On another note, Ronaldo urged Portuguese fans to support the national team with all their might on Tuesday at the "Dragão" stadium in Porto against North Macedonia, calling it "the game of our lives.” He dismissed hints that his team now faces an "easier opponent" instead of a tougher test against Italy.

The captain of Portugal stated, "The pressure is the same regardless of the opponent. Our team is fully prepared and not looking at the rival. If we play at our best, we can win against any opponent in the world. That's why I insist on asking the fans: We need your full support on Tuesday. If you are with us, we will win the match."

It is worth noting that North Macedonia had caused a huge surprise by eliminating Italy, the four-time World Cup champions, from this year's qualification process, which features 32 competing teams.
