During this visit, Putin will meet with his Turkish counterpart, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, and Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi in Tehran as part of a summit concerning the Syrian issue. There will also be Russian-Turkish bilateral talks amid the Ukraine war, as stated by the Kremlin on Thursday, citing "Agence France-Presse."
Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov told reporters, "Preparations are underway for President Putin's visit to Iran on July 19," indicating that he will discuss the Syrian situation with his Iranian and Turkish counterparts while holding bilateral talks with Erdoğan.
