A young bakery worker met a tragic fate after being crushed by a machine used for mixing and kneading the ingredients in bread production. The victim, 22-year-old Bibiana Arellano Delabra, died in a devastating accident at a bakery in Clayton County, Georgia, USA.
A police report indicated that Delabra was operating a large industrial mixing machine when "something went wrong," which ultimately led to her being crushed. The police have launched an investigation into the incident, which took place at a facility owned by North East Foods, one of the largest bread suppliers in America, to explore any potential criminal implications, according to Sky News Arabia quoting the British newspaper Daily Star.
North East Foods released a statement saying, "We are devastated by the incident that occurred this weekend which resulted in the loss of one of our employees." The statement added, "We are committed to cooperating with the Occupational Safety and Health Administration and all relevant parties to conduct a thorough investigation into this tragedy."
