The head of the Free Patriotic Movement, Gebran Bassil, announced that "the movement won in the elections and the celebration will be on Saturday afternoon, and victory comes through building the state." He stated, "We declare today that we have the largest bloc and grouping in the Parliament." He added, "We told them not to rush in announcing the results, as the elections for us are a means to rebuild the country, and we are ready to work with everyone, having learned many lessons from this entitlement."
Bassil continued, "We have concerns about the future and the coming days; it is time to work, and we renew the call for dialogue so that no one considers us aligned with a specific axis." He pointed out that "with the fictitious victory they announced yesterday, the dollar rose, and the trio of Berri - Jumblatt - the Forces played a game of polarization and 'paid the price for it' because it is essential for expats to elect their representatives." He noted that "it has become clear how resilient the Lebanese society is," emphasizing that "a bloc identified as civil society has emerged, and it is time for serious individuals to show through legislative and parliamentary work."
