The "La Cartuja" Stadium in Seville will host the final match of the Spanish Super Cup, which will bring together Barcelona and Athletic Bilbao.
The Spanish Football Federation announced in a statement that Jesús Gil Manzano will be the main referee for this match, while Alejandro Hernández will be in the VAR room. Athletic Bilbao eliminated Real Madrid from the tournament after defeating the defending champion with a score of 2-1 in the match held on Thursday evening at the "La Rosaleda" Stadium in the semi-finals of the Spanish Super Cup.
On the other hand, Barcelona reached the final after eliminating Real Sociedad in the semi-finals, winning on penalties 3-2, following a 1-1 draw at the end of regular and extra time. It is worth noting that Real Madrid won the Spanish Super Cup last season after defeating Atlético Madrid in the final on penalties 4-1, after finishing regular and extra time in a goalless draw.
The match is scheduled for 9 PM and will be broadcast live on the open Saudi Sports Channel.
