Arab media outlets have revealed developments regarding the health condition of Egyptian actress Horeya Farghaly.
Farghaly is currently in Chicago, United States, undergoing nasal surgery, during which the doctor monitoring her case is expected to take a piece of her rib cage and graft it into her nose to restore its usual shape. According to what the doctor has informed Farghaly, she will undergo three direct surgeries. The first operation is scheduled for next Thursday and will involve reconstructing her skeletal structure. The second operation will follow 20 days after the first, focusing on placing the bones in their correct positions. Finally, the third and last operation will take place 20 days after the second, aimed at rehabilitating Farghaly to correctly align the bones.
Additionally, Farghaly was placed on artificial respiration for two days to ensure that her blood is saturated with oxygen, allowing the doctor to perform the first operation with a sufficient amount of oxygen in her blood, particularly in the facial area.
Previously, the Egyptian actress expressed in an interview that her brother, son, and sister are accompanying her during the procedure on February 2nd, adding, "I'm very scared of the pain, and I don't know if I will live or die. Thankfully, all the preparations have been completed successfully."
She spoke about her condition saying, "I can't believe so many people love me and have called me, feeling sorry for me. I have suffered from bullying for years and endured insults. I do not need cosmetic surgeries, especially since I was crowned Miss Egypt in 2002, and antibiotics have accompanied me while filming."
