On Tuesday, Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi arrived in Riyadh, where he was welcomed at King Khalid International Airport by Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia, Deputy Prime Minister, and Minister of Defense. Prince Mohammed bin Salman greeted the Egyptian president upon his arrival in Saudi Arabia. Also present to receive el-Sisi were Prince Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Governor of the Riyadh Region, State Minister and member of the Council of Ministers for Shura Council Affairs, Issam bin Saad bin Said (the accompanying minister), the Saudi Ambassador to Egypt, Osama Naqli, and the Egyptian Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Ahmed Farouk. Immediately after the Egyptian president disembarked from the plane, the Saudi Falcons performed an aerial display, painting the colors of the Egyptian flag in celebration of his arrival in the kingdom. After a brief reception in the airport's VIP lounge, the Saudi Crown Prince escorted the Egyptian president in an official motorcade to the royal court.
