A British woman discovered the reason that prevented her from getting a job despite sending dozens of job applications. Ashley Keenan shared her amusing mistake on her Twitter account, revealing that when she was a teenager trying to send her CV with various online job applications, she later realized that she had accidentally attached data from a menstrual tracker instead of her resume.
The 23-year-old account manager from Dublin, Ireland, wrote, "I will never forget applying for jobs at 17 and not hearing back from anyone, only to find out later that I attached my menstrual tracking data to about 60 job applications instead of my CV."
Ashley's post quickly went viral, garnering over 49,000 likes and hundreds of comments from Twitter users. One user commented, "Thanks for this laugh of the day. You made me laugh out loud. I hope you got a great job after that."
The tweet also caught the attention of recruiters, who confirmed that many people send incorrect attachments all the time. One official stated, "As a recruiter, I emphasize the importance of checking your attachments. I've received everything imaginable, from nude photos, travel documents, to death certificates."
