Under the title "Videos with Indecent Content... Egyptian Security Detains 'Hohouz Girl' and Her Friend," the Al Arabiya website reported that following the trend of TikTok girls who stirred controversy in Egypt, the scenario repeats itself with a girl who calls herself "Hohouz Being." She has been known for broadcasting indecent videos alongside a person who initially claimed to be her husband. After a complaint was filed against them, the security forces moved to investigate and track them down.
The Egyptian security apparatus was able to identify and arrest them at their hideout in Alexandria. It was revealed that they are not married and share a friendship, creating the videos in question to gain views and profit, leading to legal action being taken.
Earlier, security sources in Egypt revealed that a team from the General Administration of Moral Affairs was able to locate the girl's residence, which was in an area of Alexandria. The authorities confiscated four new videos that contained sexual innuendos, indicating her incitement to engage in immorality.
Additionally, a lawyer in Egypt had submitted an electronic complaint via the official page of the public prosecutor against the account labeled Hohouz Being, which broadcasts videos of an individual filming a woman while using language containing sexual innuendos, also addressing religious matters in one of the clips, targeting a group within Egyptian society, specifically people from Upper Egypt, for the sake of profit.
It is noted that the girl had broadcast inappropriate videos that included indecent language. In one video, she mocked the hijab, describing it as a "personal matter," and claimed that "tattoos are not forbidden," according to her statements. In another video, she and the person claiming to be her husband were seen burning thousands of Egyptian pounds, stating: "Anyone who wants to load the season has to write ten comments," celebrating the account reaching one million followers.
