Lewandowski Faces a Frightening Incident in Barcelona

Spanish newspaper "Marca" reported that Polish striker Robert Lewandowski was left in shock when he was robbed upon arriving at Ciutat Esportiva before Barcelona's afternoon training session. While fans were waiting for the players to arrive, someone took the opportunity to open the driver's side door of Lewandowski's car and stole a watch worth 75,000 euros directly from his wrist, and they attempted to steal his phone, according to Spanish newspaper "Sport."

The thief took the watch, which had an orange strap, and hid it under a tree. Lewandowski tried to recover the watch himself after the incident and chased the thief in his car but ended up in a minor accident. Later, police were able to arrest the perpetrator and return the watch to the Polish striker, and they stayed at the scene until 6 PM.

The newspaper stated that the incident did not prevent the striker from training normally ahead of tomorrow's match against Real Sociedad. Lewandowski joined Barcelona for 45 million euros last month from Bayern Munich after helping the German team win several titles, including eight Bundesliga titles and a Champions League title. He scored 344 goals in 375 official matches for the Bavarian team, broke the record for most goals in a single Bundesliga season, and won the FIFA World Player of the Year award twice.
