Electoral Entitlement Stalled.. Several Indicators Make It Extremely Difficult

Alongside the increasing seriousness of steps towards the elections, indicators are intensifying that make this constitutional entitlement extremely difficult. If we set aside the political factor, the administrative and logistical issues have become far more serious amid the problems faced by state administrations and institutions. "Al-Jumhuriya" learned that this matter is being intensely discussed behind the scenes, and that a large number of judges, heads of polling stations, and registration committees refuse to engage in this task. Additionally, teachers who will be called upon to assist at polling stations will not move from their locations without coverage for transportation and fees. This issue will be addressed by the Cabinet in its session at 3 PM today at the Presidential Palace.
