Employees of the National Agency Announce Continuation of Open Strike

The employees of the National News Agency (reporters, representatives, and technicians) issued the following statement: In light of the results of the general assembly held at noon in the Ministry of Information, attended by the Minister of Information in the caretaker government, Ziad Makary, which we categorically refused to participate in, and which concluded that the strike carried out today was a warning until necessary communications are made to attempt to settle our situations, and to avoid the repeated dilatory policy that has long led to our lack of justice, we have decided to continue the open strike that we had previously agreed to implement starting this morning, in response, albeit belatedly, to the invitation from the Public Administration Employees Association. We confirm that the termination of the strike is linked to the decision of the association, hoping that the employee will regain their dignity in a state of freedom and dignity.
