New Outcry from "Bakeries"... and "The Minister is Out of Earshot"!

The head of the bakers' association, Ali Ibrahim, reassured people that the bakeries will operate normally, stating via "Al-Jadeed": "The Minister of Economy is out of earshot, and our concern is to ensure bread availability for people." He added, "We cannot bear this any longer and are demanding a new price for the bread bundle." Ibrahim pointed out that discussions about subsidized wheat are inaccurate, and our problem lies with the exchange rate of the dollar. He mentioned that there will be a major protest in front of the Ministry of Economy today, and the minister needs to be attentive.
