House Burglary... and They Forgot Its Location!

The General Directorate of Internal Security Forces – Public Relations Division issued the following statement: The Information Branch of the Internal Security Forces obtained confirmed information about two individuals carrying out a theft from inside a house in the Kesrouan district. They had offered the stolen items (antiques, watches, home furnishings, and copperware...) for sale to several people.

As a result, the relevant units of the branch initiated field and investigative measures to identify and apprehend the suspects. Following extensive investigations and inquiries, the branch was able to identify the suspects, who are:

- H. S. (born in 1990, Lebanese)

- A. S. (born in 1985, Lebanese)

They have prior convictions for theft and several outstanding judicial warrants against them. On May 13, 2022, after careful observation and surveillance, a patrol from the branch arrested them in the Bouwar area.

During the search of their residence, a large quantity of stolen goods was seized. Upon interrogation, they confessed to the charges related to the nighttime theft of a house in the Ghadrass area of Kesrouan, which was executed by breaking and entering. They stated that they could not identify the location of the house as the theft took place at night.

The necessary legal measures were taken against them and they were referred to the competent authority based on the instructions of the relevant judiciary. Therefore, the General Directorate of Internal Security Forces requests the owners of the stolen goods to go to the Information Branch office in Mount Lebanon, located in the Jisr al-Basha area, to carry out the necessary legal procedures so that their seized property can be returned to them after verifying their ownership.
