Military Arrests Motorcycle Theft Gang

The Army Command - Directorate of Guidance issued the following statement: A patrol from the Intelligence Directorate arrested citizens (M.Q), (J.J), and (A.J), along with Syrian national (A.D) in the Galery Semaan area of Chiyah for forming a gang that steals motorcycles and transports them in a passenger van. The detainees confessed to stealing approximately 100 motorcycles, promoting and using drugs, and transporting them from Baalbek to Beirut, as well as wandering without identification documents. A quantity of drugs, a large sum of money, and a stolen motorcycle were seized from them. The seized items were handed over, and an investigation with the detainees has begun under the supervision of the competent judiciary.
