Title: Details of a Gruesome Murder Before Iftar

Little did she know that the sunset of that day would coincide with her murder just before the Maghrib prayer, as we were approaching Eid al-Fitr in the late days of Ramadan. A young man in Helwan, south of Cairo, committed the murder of his brother's wife right before the Maghrib call on Thursday, believing she intended to take revenge on his mother.

On the day of the incident, the accused, "Omar. S" (40 years old), who worked as a security employee in the metro and was dismissed due to his poor mental state, believed that his brother's wife, named Rasha Kamel (25 years old), was going to kill his mother. He stabbed her four fatal wounds in the chest and various parts of her body.

She was immediately transported to Helwan General Hospital for treatment, but she took her last breath before reaching the hospital. An eyewitness, one of the victim's neighbors named "Hassan," told "Sky News Arabia" that "the victim was a virtuous woman with a good reputation and beloved by her neighbors and everyone she interacted with," completely denying the claims made by the perpetrator that she intended to take revenge on his mother or that she hated him.

The witness added that the accused's wife had been unable to conceive for several years, and when they were finally blessed with a child, she died in a traffic accident with the baby. This led the husband to suffer a severe psychological crisis, prompting his siblings to admit him to Abbassia Psychiatric Hospital before he was released to live with them again.

The accused's family revealed to the police that "their only mistake was agreeing to let their son leave the hospital before ensuring he was fully recovered," stating that they "bear the guilt of the innocent woman who they had only seen as good," as they confirmed during the investigations.

The Helwan police station was notified by Helwan General Hospital about a woman admitted with severe bleeding, body trauma, and vital functions ceased due to a knife injury. Immediately, police officers arrived at the scene, confirmed the incident's validity, and arrested the accused, who confessed to committing the crime. The police informed the prosecutor to begin investigations, ordering an autopsy of the victim and a medical examination for the accused to assess his mental health status.
