After Its Grounding in Istanbul: What Happened to the Cargo Ship Coming from Ukraine?

A shipping company reported that a cargo ship coming from Ukraine, carrying over three thousand tons of corn, was towed to a dock in Istanbul today after briefly grounding, which halted navigation in the area. This incident marks the first of its kind since the signing of a UN-brokered export agreement in July. According to Reuters, citing Turkey's official TRT Haber channel, marine traffic in the Bosphorus Strait resumed after it was halted following the grounding of the 173-meter-long ship, Lady Zhma, due to a steering failure around 1800 GMT.

Tribeca Shipping stated that the towing and salvage operation for the ship began at 2110 GMT, and that it dropped anchor in the mooring area in the southern Bosphorus at 2330 GMT. The Istanbul Governor's office reported that no one was harmed and that the coast guard was present.
