The fourth edition of the "Arab Oscars" festival, chaired by Mohannad Al-Ghazawi, honored a number of stars from various Arab countries.
The artists were honored under the auspices of the Libyan Ministry of Culture and the Arab Union for Culture at a hotel in Cairo. Among the prominent honorees were Samia Ayoub, Samira Abdel Aziz, Madihah Hamdi, Aida Riyad, Madeleine Tabar, Horia Farghaly, director Ibraham Nashet, and Mona Fadali. The festival also honored international fashion designer Hani Al-Bahiri as the best fashion designer in the Arab world, as well as Lebanese singer Rola Saad as the best female singer, Libyan artist Khadouja Sabri, Egyptian actor Nidal Al-Shafee, and Lebanese artist Assi El Hallani. Additional honorees included Libyan artist Ahmed Al-Sokni, writer Walid Youssef, and director Gamal Abdel Nasser. The festival president noted that a different country is chosen to host the "Arab Oscars" with each edition, and Egypt was selected for this edition due to its significance as a major hub of art and culture in the Arab world.
