The first edition of the monthly ranking of national teams for the year 2021 has been released.
The International Federation of Association Football (FIFA) announced the new ranking of all teams in the world. Belgium maintained its top position. Morocco earned the most points, gaining 7 points, following a total of 43 international matches counted. There were no significant changes in the rankings of Arab teams.
Belgium retained its lead in the global ranking of football teams in the new edition, while Tunisia topped the list of Arab teams, ranking 26th globally and 2nd in Africa, behind Senegal, which ranked 20th globally.
The top ten teams in the new FIFA ranking are as follows:
