Composer Mohamed Saad has passed away recently due to the COVID-19 virus. The news of his death was announced by poet and treasurer of the Authors and Composers Association, Fawzy Ibrahim, on his personal Facebook account. Fawzy Ibrahim wrote in his post, "The worst news I can write is the death of composer Mohamed Saad today. Mohamed Saad was, for me, a significant partner in success." He added, "Mohamed managed to cope with leukemia for years, but he couldn't withstand the COVID-19 that attacked his frail body a month ago. May God have mercy on you, my dear; indeed, we belong to God and to Him we shall return."
Mohamed Saad was born in 1968 and during his career, he presented several hit songs, including "Akhaskum Ah," "Qol Tani Keda," and "Sayid El Sayed" with Lebanese artist Nancy Ajram, as well as "Sayid El Ghalin" with Lebanese artist Ragheb Alama, "Haymana" with Lebanese artist Elissa, "Bahebak Ya Omi" with artist Hamada Helal, and the songs "El T التجربة" and "Zagzag" with artist Mohamed Mohy.
