In the 44th minute, Ounajem assisted the second goal scored by the team's star Ayoub El Kaabi. Simon Msuva scored Wydad's third goal in the 86th minute, after Ounajem was substituted in the 68th minute of the match, while Yahya Jabrane capped off the scoring in the 92nd minute from a penalty kick.
Notably, with this result, Wydad leads Group C of the African Champions League with 6 points from two matches, while Guinea's Horoya Conakry is in second place with 4 points, and Kaizer Chiefs sits third with 1 point.
