News of

Saudi media have revealed that Al Nassr Club has reached an agreement with the goalkeeper of the Egyptian national team to join its ranks. The Saudi newspaper "Al-Riyadiyah," through its Twitter account, reported today that Al Nassr has come to a final agreement with Mohamed Abou Gabal, the goalkeeper of the Egyptian national team and Zamalek Club, to join him on a free transfer this upcoming summer. The newspaper did not publish any further details about the deal.

Meanwhile, Egyptian media reported that the contract offered to the player exceeds $2 million annually for the next three seasons. Abou Gabal previously denied that an official offer had been received from Al Nassr after comments made by one of his agents. Abou Gabal stated on Twitter that “everything said by agents about offers is merely their speculation.”

It is noteworthy that Abou Gabal is currently with his team Zamalek in Angola, preparing for the match against Sagrada in the second round of the group stage of the African Champions League. Abou Gabal's contract with Zamalek ends at the end of the current season, but Mortada Mansour, the president of the White Castle, recently announced his club's desire to renew the contract of the 33-year-old, especially after his remarkable performance in defending the Egyptian national team in the recent Africa Cup of Nations.
