Road Conditions in Lebanon

The Traffic Control Room reported the conditions of the mountainous roads.

The National News Agency communicated the statement from the Traffic Control Room, which stated the following: The road from Haïnata to the Cedars is closed, while the road in the Cedars is accessible up to the cable car. The Kfarzebian - Hadath Baalbek road is closed, while Fariyya is accessible up to Warda Square. The Jurd Marbain - Hermel road is closed. The Alaqoura - Hadath Baalbek road is also closed. The Maaser el-Chouf - Kfaryas road is open for four-wheel drive vehicles. The Dhahr al-Bidar road is open for vehicles, except for trucks. The Tarchich - Zahle road is currently accessible.

Lebanon is experiencing stormy and heavy rainy weather, with a colder front expected on Wednesday, bringing snow at altitudes just below 1000 meters before the low-pressure system dissipates on Wednesday evening, leaving behind freezing temperatures, northern winds, and frost on the mountains, including the lower elevations.
