Snapchat has now become one of the social media platforms where YouTube videos can be shared directly. According to "The Verge," when users click the share button below YouTube videos, the Snapchat app icon will now appear among the main social media icons, allowing Snapchat users to share their desired YouTube videos via the "Story" feature or on their main page. This update saves Snapchat users the hassle of copying and pasting links when sharing YouTube videos on their pages. The feature is available for both Android and iOS users, allowing them to share the video in a "sticker" format, which makes it appear as a sticker in users' posts, as shown in the image.
**New Feature for Location Tracking**
Snapchat has also announced a new feature for live location, enabling its users to share their current location. According to "Digital Trends," this feature, known as real-time location, is already available on other social media platforms, such as WhatsApp, which offers a similar feature called live location. Once implemented by Snapchat, this feature will function like Apple’s tracking app for iOS, known as Find My. For added security, Snapchat will allow this feature to be used only among its users’ close and trusted friends, enabling them to see each other’s locations while outside the home. The live location feature will allow users to share their location for a duration ranging from 15 minutes to several hours. This feature will be gradually rolled out for public use before being available worldwide.
