The General Directorate of General Security announced in a statement that "based on the decision of the Council of Ministers regarding the update of the strategy to confront the Coronavirus and the gradual easing of lockdown restrictions, Lebanese citizens and their family members stranded in Syria and wishing to return to Lebanon are allowed entry through the Masnaa and al-Abboudiyah border crossings, starting from 9:00 AM until 6:00 PM on 24/02/2021, provided they possess a negative PCR test result, not older than 96 hours from Syria, and they will undergo another PCR test at the border conducted by the Ministry of Public Health teams."
