Mrs. Bahia Hariri, head of the Hariri Foundation for Sustainable Human Development, received the Secretary-General of the Nasserist Popular Organization, MP Osama Saad, accompanied by his office director Talal Arqadan and Bilal Shaaban. The meeting was attended by the general coordinator of the Future Movement in Sidon and the South, Mazen Hashisho, and the executive director of the Hariri Foundation, Mrs. Rubina Abu Zainab.
After welcoming MP Saad, there was a discussion regarding the general and current situation in the city of Sidon and its surroundings, covering various issues concerning citizens, particularly the life-related problems such as the crises of water, electricity, and waste disposal. There was a mutual agreement to continue communication and consultations on all matters concerning the city and anything that could alleviate the pressures of the current circumstances and crises on the people.
Following the meeting, MP Osama Saad stated: "It was an opportunity to exchange ideas about the city's issues and its challenging files, especially in light of the state's institutional absence and its role in addressing these files. It was necessary to consult with Mrs. Bahia on the mechanisms we could follow in this phase, specifically to address the city's files or ease the pressure on citizens, particularly in environmental matters and services related to electricity and water, as well as the plight of commercial markets and other issues."
