The Moroccan team struggled to keep up with Iceland, which ended the first half leading by a score of 15-10. Morocco's performance declined physically, resulting in an exciting victory for Iceland.

It is noteworthy that with this result, the Moroccan team will compete in the President's Cup to determine the rankings from 25 to 32, while Iceland advanced as the group runner-up with a total of 4 points. The Algerian national team also officially advanced to the second round with a total of 2 points.
