His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President of the UAE, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai, emphasized that the ambitions of the Emirati people have reached new horizons following the arrival of the Hope Probe to Mars. He pointed out that Emirati Arab youth have shattered the false barriers that suggested they could not compete globally in space.
In a post on his official Twitter account, he stated, "A year ago today, the Hope Probe reached Mars... Arabs reached the red planet for the first time in their history... and the aspirations of our people have reached new horizons. A year ago, a group of Emirati Arab youth managed to break the imaginary barriers that we cannot compete with the world in space... Happy year to the youth of the Arabs."
