How to Communicate with Others in Groups if You Abandon WhatsApp

To communicate with family, friends, or even for work, many people worldwide use the group feature in WhatsApp. However, due to the new policy announced by the app recently, some users are becoming apprehensive about using it.

If a WhatsApp user wishes to stop using the app, there are now many messaging applications available that ensure excellent data encryption, especially for message data, such as Telegram or Signal. Through these apps, a person can communicate with others in groups that include the same people from the WhatsApp groups they were part of. According to Russia Today, users should access the Google Play Store or App Store on their phones and download the app. After that, they should go to the settings menu where an option to create a "New Group" will appear. By clicking on this option, a list of contacts available on their device will be displayed, allowing them to add the same contacts they used to communicate with in a WhatsApp group to the new group.

If a user wants to transition to Signal, they should download the app from the Google Play Store or App Store, then log into the app, and then create a new contact group and add the desired members. They can also copy the link for this group and send it to users from the groups they were part of in WhatsApp, inviting them to join their new group in Signal.
