The Minister of State for Foreign Affairs in the UAE, Dr. Anwar Gargash, revealed that the number of COVID-19 vaccine recipients in the country has exceeded 3 million people.
Gargash stated on his Twitter account, "Many thanks to the medical and logistical system for this exceptional campaign." This announcement comes as the Ministry of Health and Prevention in the UAE reported today that 180,930 new tests were conducted over the past 24 hours on various segments of the community using the best and latest testing technologies.
According to the official Emirates News Agency (WAM), the intensification of testing measures in the country and the expansion of test scopes contributed to the detection of 3,962 new cases of the COVID-19 virus from different nationalities, all of which are stable cases receiving necessary health care, bringing the total number of recorded cases to 297,014.
The ministry also announced the deaths of 7 individuals affected by the COVID-19 virus, bringing the total number of fatalities in the country to 826.
