A groom expressed his anger after his mother shared photos of his bride's wedding dress on social media before the ceremony, prompting him to remove her from the wedding. The bride had previously made it clear that she didn't want anyone outside the wedding to see her dress before walking down the aisle, wanting to surprise her father and then her future husband.
Despite this desire, the bride's mother-in-law insisted on sharing pictures of the dress on social media, claiming that everyone wanted her to do so, even though she did not have the bride's permission to post the images.
Tensions escalated when the mother-in-law insisted on wearing white while the bridesmaids and mothers attempted to dress themselves. In response, the bride decided to have the entire wedding themed in white.
However, the real betrayal occurred on the morning of the wedding when the mother-in-law shared a revealing picture of the bride in her wedding dress. On Reddit, the furious groom explained that the photo was taken and shared about 30 minutes before the ceremony, ruining the surprise.
The groom wrote, "My wife wanted to surprise her father as much as I was surprised when she walked down the aisle in her dress. This was important to her. But her father saw a picture of his daughter on Facebook, and my wife only found out after the ceremony due to last-minute preparations."
He added, "After the ceremony, I kicked my mom out of the wedding and she was not invited to the reception. My dad and younger brother also left, along with a few other family members."
