In this round, Manchester City maintained the top of the league table with 47 points after a valuable victory over their host team Burnley with a score of 2-0, in a match that took place at Turf Moor. Manchester United followed in second place with 44 points after a crushing victory over their host team Southampton with a score of 9-0, in a match held at Old Trafford. Leicester City occupied third place with 42 points after defeating their host team Fulham 2-0, while Liverpool dropped to fourth place with 40 points after falling to a defeat against their host team Brighton by a single goal. West Ham United solidified their position in fifth place with 38 points after an exciting win over their host team Aston Villa with a score of 3-1.
