The Egyptian star Yusra reassured her fans after contracting the coronavirus, stating that she is in good health following a negative test result for COVID-19. Yusra explained via her Facebook account: "Thank God the result after 3 weeks is negative... I am still committed to treatment and rest due to complications, but your prayers, your constant love, and God's grace have been reasons for me to get through this crisis... I love you from my heart and take care of yourselves... May God protect everyone."
Dr. Mohamed Awad Tag El-Din, advisor to the President for Health Affairs, confirmed that the coronavirus test for artist Yusra and her husband Khaled Selim came back negative yesterday. He noted that the media personality Wael El-Ibrashy is still in the hospital and needs some time, wishing him a speedy recovery. Dr. Mohamed added: "The virus may have died and is no longer contagious, but its remnants in the respiratory system and the human body can still yield positive results for some time." He also mentioned that there is a timeline for vaccinations, as the ministry has started preparing programs and centers to administer vaccines, prioritizing medical teams, the elderly, and patients with chronic diseases.
