The Dallas Police Department in Texas has announced that Greek historical artifacts at the Dallas Museum were vandalized, resulting in damages estimated at $5 million. The alleged perpetrator, identified as 21-year-old Brian Hernandez, has been charged with a felony and may face a prison sentence ranging from 5 years to life imprisonment. According to the police, Hernandez sneaked into the museum and violently smashed the artifacts. He destroyed a Greek amphora dating back to the 6th century BC, a Greek pot from 450 BC, along with other artifacts, which are collectively valued at around $5 million. The police noted that Hernandez was not armed, and his motives remain unclear.
